How bookit now works and how to get the exclusive cancelation off.

I have the feedback to be able to book things now but it saids that because I have a EXCLUSIVE CANCELATION that I'm not able to book it now. What do I need to do to change this or will I even be able to use the book it nows?

    Thank you for your message! For all service provider, we allow a 10% or lower cancellation rate because we understand that cancellations do happen in the transportation industry. Any cancellations over the 10% mark will be considered excessive cancellations. Since I am unable to review your account based on your Get Satisfaction username, Scootsproperty, I am not going to be able to give you an exact number of shipments that you need to book to get out of excessive cancellations.

  • Well I have one. I did a book it now and then contacted the customer right after to set up a time to pick up. I got an email back from the customer stating he already went and go the item himself because the last person he hired to do it didnt show up.. Ok that I understand. But heres what I dont get. I contacted Uship and they tell me to let the customer know to call them to take care of. Next thing I get was a request to cancel. His reason was because I never showed up as agreed. Well I was never giving a chance and the shipment was already complete. Uship tells me to go put in my own reason. I told them I dont want the cancellation on my profile because I had nothing to do with it. So I did as they said. I put in my own reason and now on my profile it said "The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon agreed date and time" Not thats just faults. When I contacted the Customer He says that was for the other person that didnt show up to do the job. I have repeatedly email Uship support and fowarded over all emails from the customer stating this and still I'm left with bad feedback and a cancellation on my profile for something I never did. Thats not how I do business. I missed one shipment from an injury. I am always on time and there to get my loads. All I ask for is the cancellation be removed or the feedback thats on it from the customer Glenn. How can that be true, Where he says I didnt show up if the item wasnt there because he already got it? Come on. Tired of the emails going back and forth. Just take care of it plz.

I too got the cancelation on my profile. Not fair, I wiss that Uship would participate more in resolving some of the problems, instead of only on the money.

  • good topic .. i know of another instance where 2 more book it nows will soon be canceled .. I bidded on an item that the shipper had 4 different shipments listed all of the same product .. 2 of which are book it nows.. in a q and a with the client he devuldged that he had already shipped outside of Uship yet the book it now listings still exist..waiting for 2 people to accept and then get canceled on .. NOT RIGHT ,,
    Additionally the book it now option in many cases does not allow you to ask questions of the shipper until AFTER you have booked it ,, therefore you cannot ask appropriate questions about the shipments fit weight or size ..hours of availability or specific date requirements prior to accepting the book it now price

      Thanks for writing in. On BIN listings you will always have the opportunity to ask a question using the "ask a question" button. You can also flag listing as being abandoned by clicking the grey flag at the top of the listing page.

      Please remember to always touch base with a customer before accepting a BIN shipment. Exercise care and caution while booking to avoid cancellations.
